American CareQuest Palliative Care & Hospice Foundation is a palliative care foundation that was built for the purpose of improving the quality of life for hospice patients and their family members.
It is our mission to relieve suffering for these families by providing the best possible quality of life in their unique health situations. The program supports entire households every step of the way in their loved one’s end-of-life journey, not only by controlling the disease’s symptoms but also by helping them understand the treatment options and goals.
Our foundation provides an interdisciplinary team of palliative care doctors, nurses, and other specialists to work together with the patients and their families. Together, we hope to achieve a better quality of life towards the end of their journey and to make appropriate decisions to avoid pain and suffering due to incurable diseases. Even when there is no cure, caring can still make a difference.

We are a tax-exempt home health agency that provides palliative and hospice care to the local community. Located in the San Francisco Bay Area, we have witnessed how many people have struggled to go through their end-of-life journey and in desperate need of help. They often face limited life expectancy or suffer from serious illnesses, but are not covered by insurance or cannot afford care services. We realized this issue and aim to help improve the quality of life for those people. To achieve this, we believe the key is to make professional care services available to everyone and engage their families in the process. Our program matches caregivers with patients who cannot afford palliative or hospice care. We also conduct educational outreach to the patients’ families and let them play an important role in assisting the patients’ daily life and supporting them spiritually. With the engagement of both caregivers and the families, patients will be in a safer environment and remain comfortable and peaceful.
